Christina Bell is a Canadian soprano and songwriter based in Edmonton, Alberta. Her artistic work encompasses opera, musical theatre, jazz, and contemporary music, reflecting a lifelong dedication to vocal performance and musical expression.

From an early age, Christina studied and performed classical repertoire while developing a strong affinity for the stage through musical theatre and original songwriting. She subsequently pursued a Minor in Music at the University of Alberta, where she further developed her musicianship and cultivated a deeper understanding of vocal technique, interpretation, and performance practice.

In addition to her classical studies, Christina has established herself as a recording artist and composer. In 2006, she released an original pop and jazz album with support from Rawlco Radio, receiving regular radio airplay. Throughout her career, she has combined artistic versatility with an entrepreneurial spirit, independently producing and presenting vocal performances that bridge classical and contemporary traditions.

As a solo artist, Christina has appeared in vocal jazz and operatic performances throughout Edmonton and the Okanagan region. She remains committed to ongoing vocal development through the study of the lyric soprano repertoire. Her recent work includes Puccini’s “Vissi d’arte” from Tosca and “Si chiamano Mimì” from La Bohème, Gounod’s “Je veux vivre” from Roméo et Juliette, and Mozart’s “Ach, ich fühl’s” from Die Zauberflöte.

Through her continued exploration of a broad range of musical styles, Christina brings technical refinement, expressive depth, and a passion for storytelling to her performances.
